QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Finance
- Accounting
- Business Administration
- Economics
- Banking
- Risk Management
- Or a related field
Professional certifications such as:
- CPA
- ACCA
- Or equivalent
will be an added advantage.
3 to 5 years’ experience in:
- Credit Control
- Collections
- Risk Management
- Financial Operations
Strong knowledge of:
- Credit management principles
- Debt recovery processes
- Financial risk assessment
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct credit risk assessment to ensure accurate assessment of credit risk for new and existing clients.
- Monitor key metrics including:
- Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
- Ageing receivables buckets
- Monitor portfolio and bad debt exposure to ensure credit risk exposure remains within the approved credit limit.
- Drive collection activities, dunning and after-dunning processes as per the credit control policy.
Prepare and share:
- Statements
- Dunning letters
- Termination letters
with customers. - Assist in resolving bill queries and provide clarifications to customers when needed.
Identify and work on credit-related issues contributing to:
- Customer dissatisfaction
- Service suspension
- Customer churn
Support the development and improvement of:
- Credit control processes
- Risk management processes
