Job Description
Medical Supplies Officer (Medicines) is expected to be enthusiastic, competent, self-motivated with extensive liaison and lobbying skills so that to attain required departmental targets.
He/she will be responsible for the Selling, Marketing of Medical supplies products by ensuring its standard qualities to Clients.
Responsibilities
- For all departmental operations, portray excellent customer care and sort out all customer complain/un-satisfaction within 24 hours, failure to which shall be communicated to HOD Medical Supplies for further actions
- Liaise and do extensive lobbying so that to ensure TMHS secure contracts and good relationship Medicines customers within all range of medicines products
- Identify, lobby, Secure and Retention of companies/Organizations/Firms that TMHS can supply medicines
- Develop extensive network so that the company can secure NGOs projects which TMHS will be sole provider for Medicines.
- Ensure the company comply and attain all necessary accreditations/permits/registrations pertaining to Medicines/drugs supplies.
- Develop firm network with hospitals, organizations, firms or community so that the TMHS can have patients who need home based care, and eventually coordinate delivery of drugs to home based care patients.
- Managing all tender released from tender application to successful winning tenders applied.
- Prepare and submit periodic departmental progress reports to HOD Medical Supplies as appropriate as well as keep all departmental records and data securely.
- Manage all TMHS Pharmacies
- Making sure all deliveries are done properly with the required TMHS standards
- Any other assigned task
Education
Work requires Diploma of Pharmacy.
Experience
Minimum of 3-years working experience as Medical Supplies Officer in well recognized facility.
Must be enrolled with the pharmacy council of Tanzania.
