I got an opportunity to work at Temeke Labour Office as assistant Labor officer for the duration of 1 year through TAESA, when I was there I gained an experience and knowledge on how to ensure labour relations at workplaces. My responsibilities as assistant Labour officer at Temeke Labour office are, to ensure compliance monitoring, to ensure Inspections and investigations ( workplace inspections about violations of workplace standards and workers rights ), to solve and dispute resolutions between employees and employers, to ensure documentation and reporting ( preparation of weekly, monthly and yearly reports of inspections) as well as Education and outreach ( to provide education to employees and employers about workers about labor laws).
